Silverball has returned to racing in great condition this time and remains outright $1.90 in 2015 Kingston Town Stakes betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au ahead of Havana Cooler ($6.50), Maurus and King Kinshasa; currently sharing the third line at even $8 odds.

Will Silverball justify favouritism and win the 2015 Kingston Town Stakes, or will one of his talented rivals find the line in the clear?

1st

Silverball ($1.90)

Silverball was unlucky not to win at black type level last start but has taken great benefit from the run and is sure to receive a great run in transit in the Kingston Town Stakes from barrier 4. Posting six wins and a further seven minors through 23 career starts so far, the Kahyasi gelding has been a strong performer for Chris Waller since arriving in his care this year; claiming three wins including the Listed Lord Mayors Cup (2000m) on May 9th. Brenton Avdulla returns to the saddle and Waller could not be more bullish about the horse’s chance for success in the 2015 Kingston Town Stakes.

2nd

Foundry ($11)

Macedon Lodge runner Foundry will leave from the rails draw with James McDonald aboard in the 2015 Kingston Town Stakes and offers exceptional value for money at current $11 odds for success or $2.80 to finish in the first three. Beginning his career under the guidance of leading Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien before transferring to the care of Robert Hickmott prior to the 2014 racing calendar, Foundry was unable to make much of a competitive impact through the 2014 Spring Carnival but has taken great benefit from his time away from racing.

3rd

Maurus ($8)

Maurus is yet to finish worse second in six competitive starts this year but undoubtedly faces his toughest task to date in the 2015 Kingston Town Stakes. Finishing outside the first three only twice in ten career starts, the Medicean gelding will be aiming for a third-consecutive success in the 2015 Kingston Town Stakes having taken out each of the Schweppes BM84 (1900m) and Cellarbrations BM75 (1900m) most recently.
